The 20th Century Theatre
The 20th Century Theatre is Notting Hill's best kept secret: a grade 2 listed English Heritage building with a rich connection to some of the most prominent musicians, authors, actors, playwrights and culture of the 20th century.
Built circa 1860, it has hosted performances by Laurence Olivier, Rex Harrison and Charles Dickens. For twenty years it was the headquarters for Rudolph Steiner who introduced Eurythmy to England on its stage. After that it became the London Opera School and a venue for professional and amateur theatre repertory groups.
Opera Lyrica is delighted to be able to perform in such an historically important building!
