Il Barbiere di Siviglia

May 2013, St Peter's College Chapel, Oxford.
This production brought the of the Mediterranean to St Peter's, set in the sixteenth-century Italian tradition of commedia dell'arte. The simple set and specialised masks allowed our cast to explore the shapes and patter of these characters usually associated with the theatre. It may be an old tradition but its tales are timeless.

Set in the magical world of Lewis Carroll's Wonderland, this production saw the Queen of the Night become the wicked Queen of Hearts, sending Tamino off to find his White Rabbit, Pamina.
